Farida was born April 6, 1979, in Lagos, Nigeria she spent her early childhood life in Dominica, Grenada and the U.K.. Her family moved to Ghana when she was 9 years old. At 10 days old Farida developed cerebral palsy from Rhesus incompatibility of her parents. Farida hence was home schooled by her mother until she turned 12.
She has written a novel titled: Definition of a miracle. She has also created the gKudi micro-finance platform, a clouded banking system that allows small scale loans within Ghana.
