Female and More - In School Season 4

• Help millions of females in Africa overcome low self-esteem and inhibitive social narratives through self-esteem building.
• Help young females improve their academic performances and career focus.
• Sharpen the leadership skills of young Females in secondary schools.
• Foster peer energy, networking and role modeling among young females.

• You are required to identify a secondary school in your state of residence that will accept to implement the 30 days Female And More self-esteem program for females in their school in October to mark the 2019 International Day of the Girl Child. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR ONLY SECONDARY SCHOOLS, PRIMARY SCHOOLS ARE NOT INCLUDED
• Every school that accepts will get a donation of 15 handbooks for free to keep in its Library or Administrative block for the benefit of their participating students who are in science classes.
• You are to identify and confirm a participating school by close of School Term in July 2019.
• You will work with the school to identify 25 or more female students in JSS3, SSS1 and SSS2 who are interested in participating in the program, interested participants should be given the opportunity to apply and write a simple test and together with a school representative you can select your participants.
• List of the students and acceptance letter from the school should be sent to us on or before school closes in July 2019.
• During the 30 days self-esteem program each participant is to read one story of a great woman in the handbook, which contains inspiring stories of 30 great women.
• You are to agree with the school what time of the day the females can come to read each story, each story is basically 4 pages only and can be read within 15 minutes for even slow readers.
• You are to visit the school once a week for 30-40 minutes during which the participants will converge to share their experiences participating in the program in the presence of a school official assigned to work with you on the project.
• You are to commence and conclude the 30 days self-esteem program in your chosen school between October 2nd – 31st, 2019.
• You will be expected to submit reports on the implementation of the 30 days self-esteem program on a weekly basis using google docs.
• You will also be expected to take pictures weekly during your weekly meeting with the students.
• At the end of the program, students are to do a 1 -2 minutes’ video of how the program has impacted them for us to share on social media platforms.

Other Important Information

• As a Female Enabler and Volunteer, please be informed that volunteering to implement this project in a chosen school comes with no monetary compensation. You will be responsible for your transportation to the school prior to getting the approval and during the 4 weeks engagement with the females.
• Also note that young females participating in 4 weeks self-esteem program under your guidance are not to pay any fee to you for any reason whatsoever. The program is completely free for them, as it will be for you.
• However, a certificate of participation shall be given to every volunteer who implements and completes the program in a school, and submits complete reports within the specified time.
• As a volunteer, you will also get 1 personal copy of the handbook and will be profiled on our social media platforms as our volunteers for the project.
