The purpose of LIGGA is to promote a culture of good governance and leaders of integrity who eschew corruption in Africa. Strengthening good governance, developing leadership capacity, modeling integrity, and promoting accountability is the focus of LIGGA, with emphasis on transparency, oversight mechanisms, representativeness and responsiveness, respect for human rights, and principles of inclusion, participation, and public service. This APS seeks applications targeted at leaders in any level of government as well as leaders in civil society, media, and policy-making. He is involved in youth development, non-governmental activities, a coach and motivational speaker.</p><p><strong>Result</strong></p><p>The project has a direct bearing on Rivers State with population size of over 5,185,400, indirectly on other states within the South-South Geopolitical zone, the country and to both established and prospective entrepreneurs hoping to invest in the State.</p><p>The implementation of this project has critical impact on all residents of the State both young and old, the UNDP, Rivers State Government and the Ministry of Budget are giving the project report serious consideration as its critical relevance cannot be over-emphasized and more importantly the social actors are waiting. The assignment elucidates more importantly, the merits of bottom-up strategy of sustainable community development approach, and provide a guide in budgetary allocation of funds to different sectors of the state as it matches with pressing needs of the residents which ultimately have serious bearing on all Rivers State residents and stakeholders.
