Young Voter's Chatroom

Recent developments in the electioneering process especially the postponement of the parliamentary elections has created a huge confidence crisis in young electorate. More so, the low sensitization about the election modality , The Modified Open Ballot System (MOBS) is creating undue tension and confusion among young voters and Nigerians in general. More so, considering the short time constraint, there is need to adopt a strategy that can reach millions of young voters in a youth friendly way, conveying accurate information to them as well as offering a platform they can see as their own for directing their concerns and aspirations. It is with this background that the Young Voters Chatroom 30minutes daily television broadcast has been designed to be broadcast on Silverbird television across the 6 geo-political zones in nigeria

The Young Voter’s Chatroom 2011 is packaged to educate and sensitize Nigerians and young voters on The Modified Open Ballot System of voting during the 2011 elections as well as encourage young voters to come out and vote in a non-violent conduct.
