Call for Script – After Count 40minutes Short Video On Post Election Citizen Engagement

After the success of MY Vote Fit Change Naija Video, young people now know they can vote the leader of their choice into political offices. However, what happens next…? The trend has always been that after general elections, many election related activities wind up or loose their steam until the next general elections. Often times, citizenship actions also reduce significantly especially when they believe that the election result reflected their choice of leadership. Politicians also enjoy the respite because of reduced post citizenship engagement. This enables most politicians not to keep to pre election campaign promises, as well as poor accountability and transparency.

The After Count Video which will feature top Nollywood stars and Nigerian Artistes, would show how young people can effectively engage elected officers and ensure that elected officers keep their promises and remain accountable to the electorate in order to get re-elected in future elections.
