International Youth Day 2012 – Building a Better World, Partnering with Youth
Every year, the United Nations marks the International Youth Day on August 12. This year in Nigeria, the UNDP – DGD Office is hosting a Hope Exhibition and Youth Conference to mark the event on Thursday 9th, August 2012 at F.C.T Abuja.
The Hope Exhibition shall showcase 10 exemplary youth projects initiated and implemented by young people in Nigeria which has in one way or the other contributed to political and democracy development in Nigeria within the last 2 years.
If you think you have done an exemplary youth activity or project that can be exhibited on this world class platform, this is your opportunity to apply. Note, the project or activity you want to exhibit must show that it has contributed to politics and democracy development in Nigeria.

General Participation

Travel Scholarship
UNDP-DGD has offered limited travel and accommodation scholarship to interested participants on a first come and first served basis.
Eligibility
Young people from Nigeria that are between the ages of 18 – 35 years old.
