
The program started at exactly 6:00am with stay-alive exercise all the participants went out on jugging and we came in and Mr. Ogunbowale Oladayo Juwon lead the loosing up and everyone set out for their rooms for shower. It was followed by Leadership Learning Group session 7:15am and breakfast at about 8:00am. By 8:30am, Mr. Ogunbowale Oladayo Juwon led us in an opening prayer and immediately followed by the National Anthem and Pledge.

SESSION ONE: PASS- IT-ON, LEARNING VISIT AND INTERNSHIP BY MR. KINGSLEY BANGWELL
He told us that as was stated in our letter, PIO is a ticket to semester 2 and it must be organized within two weeks. It has to be strictly the topics taught in the DESPLAY program and the ones that appeal to you most and at least twenty-five people and that it has a reporting format and must come with attendance sheet duely signed and pictures and must be sent either through email or post. You are free to invite DESPLAY Alumini or present participants for your PIO. There is a support of 10000. All should participate actively online. DESPLAY facebook page.
LEARNING VISIT: Participants are expected to have visit to be African country Ghana and Cameroon is N65,000 and you have to apply and pay advance and if you cancel, you lose some money but if the organisation does, they refund. The form will be forwarded to us.
LEGISLATIVE INTERNISHIP: It is optional and those that are to apply will have a place to stay in Abuja and you have to declare interest and those who want to do it in there state can also do that is just that there is no allowance attached to it, is only those in Abuja. There are laws and logbook attach to it.
SESSION TWO: FEDERALISM VS UNITARY STATE VS CENTRALISM BY SHOLA FAGORUSI
Federalism is a voluntary and its unity in diversity. It is expected to be voluntary and that usually gives room for mutual respect.
Tafawa Belewa stated that Nigeria has existed as one country on paper and it simply means it is still far from being united and that it unity is the British intention.
Chief Obafemi Awolowo also states that Nigeria is not a Nation rather it is a geographical expression it simply used to distinguish people of the same boundaries.
CHARACTERISTICS OF A FEDERALIST STATE
- Each level of government must be coordinated and independent.
- There must be Supreme Court of the independent judiciary.
- There must be two levels of government and there must be constitutional division of power among the levels of government etc.

In a Federalist State, people feel involved while they sidelined in the Centralist State.
UNITARY STATE
Here one single unit of supreme government exists.
TYPES OF UNITARY GOVERNMENT
- Traditional Unitary government
- Devolved unitary government. Example of where it is practiced is UK.
ADVANTAGES OF UNTARY GOVERNMENT
- Unilateral decision making
- Faster implementation of laws of other government actions
- Rapid crisis response
At this point the Chief whip rendered account and return N800 to the social group to join the social night preparation and every participant is to pay the sum of N500 for the Social night and some free will donations to augment the money and the following donated: Sir. Bola- N5000, Obinna, Dike – N1000, Blessing Timidi Digha – N1000, PD- N500 and Kingsley George – N500 for the social night.
SESSION THREE: PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
At exactly 4:30pm tension increased in the DESPLAY PROGRAM over election, all us were given numbers and was asked to go out as your number is called you come in to vote and all the twenty-five electorates voted and in the end Mr. Ogunbowale Oladayo Juwon emerged the Executive President of the Federal Republic of DESPLAY SESSION 7 with thirteen (13) votes over his colleague Ms. Blessing Timidi Digha had twelve votes. She thanked all for their support to her and urges all of us to work together. His Excellency Mr. Ogunbowale Oladayo Juwon thanked everyone for their support and urges us to work together and as well stated that Blessing T. Digha will be the Secretary.
The National Anthem and Pledge were recited by all participants and we all retire to our rooms by 5:30pm to come back by 8:00pm for dinner and Social night.
Participants were given a one way transportation to there various states according to the receipt presented by them.
SESSION FOUR: SOCIAL NIGHT
We all assembled back by for dinner by 8:30pm and the social night and it went very perfect and our new president was sworn in with the promise of providing the certificate of return within two(2) days and the social night official ended by 10:00pm.
