First Day at Harvard Kennedy School on Global Leadership and Prof Bohnet gives is the general overview, which is that we are here to think deeply and creatively about prevailing issues today and next 30years, that is what is going on, why it is so, what will happen if we dont create change and what we can do to create change! She made an exciting analogy about Intention vs Action as one of the key challenges of modern times and the need to think creatively to make people do what they ought to do but with ease is critical. She opines that one way to advance human development is to Promote Behavioral Change in people, ie, she used an illustration of using fun as an incentive to get people to do things.
Personal Thought. Africa needs to scale up its culture of thinking ahead about the continent so we can move ahead and foster development for our people. Who is deliberately thinking ahead for Nigeria, for your state and local government area? We must begin to think ahead and very creatively.
