Winners of the Martin Luther King’s Day Human Rights Blog Post Competition on Youngstars website, were hosted by the Human Rights Officer of the U.S Embassy, Abuja, Nigeria.
The event held at the embassy of the United States, Abuja on the 16th of February 2012. It was an informal one hour interactive session with the Human Rights Officer and a member of the public affairs section. The Human Rights officials and top 5 winners introduced themselves, talked about their work, and discussed the a few of the Universal Human Rights and the blogs posted during the competition by the winners.
Questions were asked and the discussions was allowed to move in whatever direction. Pictures shots were taken and light refreshments were served.
The meeting officially ended at 2:30pm
