DESPLAY 5 Semester 3 holding at the Alexis Hotel and Conference Centre began with a welcome speech by the immediate past president of DESPLAY Republic, Maxwell Ogaga, who lauded the participants for their commitment to democracy, participation and good governance.Thereafter, the current President of DESPLAY Republic, Babafemi Oyediran in his own welcome speech, thanked the participants for making it to the last phase of DESPLAY Africa, and encouraged them to actively participate in this Semester.

After the welcome speeches, the participants formed their house rules and joined different groups, and also reviewed their Semester 1 and 2 PIO exercises.

During the presentations, Youngstars CEO Kingsley Bangwell on “Introduction to Leadership” noted that leadership deals with interaction which pulls people towards becoming comfortable with the language of personal responsibility and commitment. He also enumerated the attributes a credible leader must possess and the need for everyone to become conversant with the ‘Next Level Leadership’ that  is gradually defining the leadership style of today.
