Nigeria and Corruption

Corruption charges brought against a former Nigerian Governor, James Ibori, an ally to Nigerian president M. Umaru Yar’ Adua has been dropped, to the dismay of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC),  a decision the EFCC has described as “hasty”.  Wonderful things happen in this country o0!

    I believe we might find it very tough to fight and win the war against corruption if our attitudes toward money still remain the way it is today. For instance, a lot of Nigerians do not really care about value and integrity. And it really beat my imagination, how we intend to grow with this type of mentality!

    We have to keep building and doing hat we know is RIGHT in our own little space, e might not be able to change the nation totally in the next 50 years, let us change oursleves and then in a few days we realise the nation wll change.

    Today EFCC launched a corruption campaign in Gombe, that looks kind of serious but we need to have more details. Atleast thats some efforts than not lifting a spoon.
